Chiang Mai

On the road to self mastery. I recently landed in a new city - a new country that I’ve never been to. This place is like a cocoon. I feel like I’m being nurtured and taken care of here. From having inspiring conversations, to riding on the back of motorbikes, to taking Muay Thai classes, I feel spiritually fed.

On the road to self mastery. I’ve been more intentional about how I navigate life today. I’m more in tune with my feelings and I aim to give myself the space that I need. Furthermore, I’m learning to relax. Living in the western world, stress was common and promoted. But I learned a saying in Thailand which is ‘subai, subai.’ This means ‘relax, relax.’

Today I met 2 people from back home - one from my birth country and one from my hometown. Both of these guys felt familiar but offered me fresh perspectives. Chiang Mai feels like home now.
